SPOILERS + SUMMARY - GATEWAY

GATEWAY is an online game that tests your logic skills with different types of puzzles. Most of them are pretty interesting, and it's, on the whole, a fun game (if you're bored).

The game has ten short (although, time-consuming, depending on how much time it takes you to solves the puzzle) but different logic 'brainteasers.'

To skip the tutorial, click options in the main menu and you have the option to turn tutorial off.
Here are the explanations for them. I warn you, DON'T READ BEYOND THIS IF YOU DO NOT LIKE SPOILERS!!!

Level One

Just walk through the walls using your mouse and press the button to open the door. If you can't go move on, I'll wonder what the heck is wrong with you.

Level Two

..is also SO easy that if you don't solve it, I again, might have to wonder what is wrong with you. Just walk to the stairs and pick it up. Walk to the spot where it's obvious you'll need them. Notice the stairs icon on the top-left corner of the game (happens when you pick things up.) Drag it onto that spot and let go of the mouse. Voila! The stairs are in position so just walk through, push the button, and move on the to next level.

Level Three

Again, not much difficulty here. Just walk to the table and pick those two things up. Drag one of the icons on the left on top of the other and make a remote control. Then, drag that remote control icon onto the player and the door will open. Just keep walking and go to the next one.

Level Four

Finally, some brain-teasing. This one IS tricky. But I finally figured out that just press the first and last buttons and you're good. (Make sure you haven't pressed any buttons before, or it messes it up) Then just walk through, press, and go.

Level Five

See the color pattern on top of the other door? If you keep stepping on the steps you'll change the colors. Change it until it matches that pattern. (I recommend you do the innermost rectangle first, so you won't change it when you walk to the door.) When it finally matches, the door will open and you can go on.

Level Six

Look through the telescope. Move around and you'll see the robot who was sitting on the couch will look at you and spell 'PEEPEr'. If you notice, backwards, the letters look like the numbers 739339. Press the game and you'll go out of the telescope. Go down the stairs, and press that button. Use the numbers and the door will open. You are now free to move on.

Level Seven

Push the first plank and walk. Notice that the in the middle change. Keep on stepping on them so that the two colors are the same (It doesn't matter which). Then, go back to the first door, enter it and you'll see you went through the second door. Now push the 2nd plank down and have the coloured floors go back to the way they were (no colors). Then, go through the second door again and you are now in the next level.

Level Eight

This one can be VERY time-consuming. But all you really have to do is put the pearls in the right boxes. First, pick all of them up. Then, (Make sure you're in front of the boxes) place the LARGE pearl into the first box, the MEDIUM pearl into the 2nd, the HUGE pearl in the 3rd, the TINY pearl in the 4th, the BIG pearl in the 5th, and last but definitely not the least (well, maybe..) the SMALL pearl in the last/6th box. The stairs are now in order and you're good to go.

Level Nine

This one was pretty easy, until you get to the part when you have to get the code for the keypad.. Go tot he TV. Pick up the screw driver. Walk to the service hatch (the rectangle near the outlets) and drag the screw driver on it. It'll say you unscrewed it. Then, open it and get the extension cord. Then, pick up the TV plug and drag the its icon to the extension cord's icon (or vice versa) on the top-left. Walk in front of the outlet and plug-in the TV by dragging the new icon to it. Watch the Tv and press the channels. if you follow the walking robot, you'll see that she walks (in order) from rooms in channels 9, 5, 4, 2, 7, and 1. Then, exit the from the TV and walk to and press the keypad. Use the numbers (954271). The door will open and you can go.

Level Ten

This level took so long for me to figure out. It was a matter of playing with the colors. Step on the floors to change their colors. This is the color pattern: top left should be green, top center is pink, then the top right is yellow; bottom left should be blue (a.k.a. cyan) bottom center is purple (or violet), and bottom right is the last color, which is orange. (Someone actually later told me that it had something to do with the number of blinking of the light bulbs. But I am too lazy and busy to check it out again.)

After you follow the pattern, a small elevator will appear at the center of the room. Click on it and your player will go there and leave. Credits roll and you see "To be continued..."

And there is a Gateway II! (Which I will provide the SPOILERS + SUMMARY to some other time. ---I do have a life!---)

COMPUTER SCREENSHOTS!

I finally figured out how to get computer screenshots!
Here's how you do it (Sorry Mac users! Dun know how to do in using a Mac computer):
<<<See the buttons Scroll Lock, Page Up, Page Down, etc? Well, nearby there should be a button that says Prt Scr.
<<<Press it.
<<<Go to Microsoft Paint
<<<Click Select or that button in the tool box made with dotted lines.
<<<In the white space, right click and then paste.
<<<There you go. XD
<<<If you pressed Alt-Prt Scr, it will only give you the window that you have opened and you can see. Alone, Prt Scr gives you the entire desktop.
Have fun. :D

Special thanks to this link.

"My thoughts you can't DECODE..."

Lovin' the new song entitled Decode by Paramore. (And not just because it's in the Twilight Movie Soundtrack scheduled for release on november 4th.)
Really. It's awesome.

Check it out (video is made by me):

LYRICS

How can I decide what's right
When you're clouding up my mind?
I can't win
You're losing fight
All the time

Not gonna ever own what's mine
When you're always taking sides
But you won't take away my pride
No, not this time
Not this time

How did we get here?
I used to know you so well
How did we get here?
Well, I think I know

The truth is hiding in your eyes
And it's hanging on your tongue
Just boiling in my blood
But you think that I can't see
What kind of man that you are
If you're a man at all
Well, I will figure this one out
On my own
(I'm screaming, "I love you so")
On my own
(My thoughts you can't decode)

How did we get here?
I used to know you so well, yeah
How did we get here?
Well, I think I know

Do you see what we've done?
We've gone and made such fools
Of ourselves
Do you see what we've done?
We've gone and made such fools
Of ourselves

How did we get here?
I used to know you so well, yeah
How did we get here?
Well, I used to know you so well
I think I know
I think I know

There is something I see in you
It might kill me
I want it to be true

[To Twilight-Addict and SarahTheFreak: I still can't find the song in Playlist.com, but I'll add it to UR muSICK ASAP. :)]

Supermassive Black Hole.

Speaking of Hale, they had an album called Twilight.
And speaking of Twilight, it's another name for a book (and series) I'm crazy about. (Author's Stephenie Meyer, and if you haven't even heard of it, you need to get out more. XD JK. But seriously, it's popular 'round the world.)
If you also have not heard, it's been made to a movie and is going to be released November 21st.
And it's soundtrack (OST) on the 4th.

One of the songs from the OST will be Supermassive Black Hole by Muse.
Me likey the song, and the video's awesome (for the lack of a better word)

Lyrics

Oh baby don't you know I suffer?
Oh baby can you hear me moan?
You caught me under false pretenses
How long before you let me go?

You set my soul alight
You set my soul alight

(You set my soul alight)
Glaciers melting in the dead of night
And the superstars sucked into the supermassive

(You set my soul alight)
Glaciers melting in the dead of night
And the superstars sucked into the 'supermassive'

I thought I was a fool for no-one
Oh baby I'm a fool for you
You're the queen of the superficial
And how long before you tell the truth

You set my soul alight
You set my soul alight

(You set my soul alight)
Glaciers melting in the dead of night
And the superstars sucked into the supermassive

(You set my soul alight)
Glaciers melting in the dead of night
And the superstars sucked into the 'supermassive'

Supermassive black hole
Supermassive black hole
Supermassive black hole

Glaciers melting in the dead of night
And the superstars sucked into the supermassive

Glaciers melting in the dead of night
And the superstars sucked into the supermassive

(You set my soul alight)
Glaciers melting in the dead of night
And the superstars sucked into the supermassive

(You set my soul alight)
Glaciers melting in the dead of night
And the superstars sucked into the supermassive

Supermassive black hole
Supermassive black hole
Supermassive black hole

Note: Sorry for the lousy intro.

Enlivening A Dead Heart

[Stinkin' Internet hasn't been workin' all weekend]
Here's another one of my random short short story.
(Dedicated to ChibiHunter, who told me that I "have to post this on my blog." [and who is scary hyper right now XD])

TODAY'S MUSIC:
Hale - The Day You Said Goodnight
(Jus cuz' I'm feeling Hale-y today and this song fits my not-so-bright mood ryt now.)

Anyways, ignore my blah-blah-blah's and get on with the story:

PG for a reason.

Enlivening A Dead Heart

It wasn’t his fault. He didn’t do anything. But he believed it happened because of him. He isolated himself. He made himself suffer. For days he had not come out of his tiny room, with doors and windows tightly shut and locked. The air was suffocating. Darkness surrounded the room. Anger and hatred against himself enveloped his body. He was quiet; he hasn’t said anything for days, but his almost-dead heart screamed. It was telling him it wasn’t his fault, but his mind was saying otherwise. He was there. He told him to go. And that’s why he died.
He just stared at the wall. For days he hasn’t eaten or drunk anything, and to him it didn’t matter. If he dies of starvation or thirst, then fine. He deserved it anyways, at least, that’s what he thought.

Days later, he finally went out of his room. He walked to the kitchen and saw a knife. He was about to make the biggest mistake of his life, when he saw a paper airplane on the floor. It seemed to have come out of the tiny kitchen window. He picked it up, and unfolded it, barely being able to read the words because of his lack of energy.

‘GO ONLINE ON YM TONIGHT.’

With his dry, flaky hands he crumpled the note and threw it on the floor.
It still made him curious. Who was this note from? And why should he really go online tonight?

That night, he suddenly found himself on the computer, signing in, though invisible.
PUNKMAN: Y!M STATUS: INVISIBLE
Automatically, as if he signed in as available, a user, whom he he had no idea who (but he or she was added as a Y!M friend and he apathetically accepted) sent a message.
‘WHAT THE ARE YOU DOING THERE, PUNK? YOU HAVEN’T BEEN SEEN OR HEARD FROM BY ANYONE FOR DAYS!!!’
‘Who the heck are you?’
‘Doesn’t matter! Answer my question!’
‘You answer mine!’‘I asked you first!’
‘Whatever.’
‘So?’
‘So what?’
‘Answer me, you punk!’
‘Nothing. I have done nothing.’
‘Oh, get a life! It wasn’t your fault he died!’
‘It was MY fault!’
‘NO, IT WASN’T!’
‘Who the h*ll are you to say it wasn’t?’
‘Chloe! I AM CHLOE!’
‘Well, CHLOE, it was MY FAULT!’
‘Listen to me, even if you two didn’t fight, and you didn’t tell him to leave, your best friend would’ve left anyways. He had lost a bet with me, so he had to pick me up and be my personal driver. He would’ve left anyways. He would’ve dies in that car crash even if you two didn’t have a fight and you didn’t tell him to leave.’
‘THAT’S NOT TRUE!’
‘Oh, IT IS! And besides, the crash was an accident! His brake didn’t work! And THAT wasn’t YOUR fault! Now, punk, GET A LIFE! No one’s blaming you except for your stup*d, mistaken self, and you don’t even have a reason to. So, please, I beg of you, to stop doing nothing, eat, drink, go to work, pay your bills, etc.’

“She saved my life.” he muttered to himself, as he recollected the steps of his recovery from depression and self-resentment that started three years ago.
He slapped himself lightly on his thigh, annoyed at himself for thinking of another girl, with whom he has only chatted once, while waiting for his girlfriend, Claire, to arrive in his apartment for their romantic dinner date.
Soon, the doorbell rang.
“Hi, babe.” he contentedly greeted, giving her a peck on the lips afterwards.
“Hi.” she replied, and then returning the short kiss.
“Come in. Let’s eat dinner in the living room, alright?”
“Sure.”She looked around. Plenty of aromatic candles ignited around the room. As she sat on the couch, he brought her their meal, placed it on the coffee table, and sat next to her.
After finishing their tasty dinner, they just watched TV, side-by-side on the couch, cuddling each other.Later, he informed her he needed to use the bathroom, and he did. When he came back out, she was gone.
“Claire?”
He noticed the light on the kitchen was turned on, and so he walked there. Instead of finding his girlfriend, he spotted a paper airplane. Surprised and suddenly feeling nostalgic, he took it and unfolded it to reveal a note:

‘Did I ever tell you that for some reason, I REALLY hate the name Claire? Call me Chloe from now on, please. And you did well. I’m so proud of you, PUNK.’

His eyes opened even wider. He then sensed someone behind him, and so he turned around and he saw her: Claire—no, Chloe.
She just stood there, smiling with him, as happy tears threatened to fall from her moist eyes.He came closer to her, and put his arms around her, giving her a sweet embrace, full of warmth and tenderness.
“Thank you, Chloe.” he whispered.
They let go and stared at each other lovingly. “For what?” she asked.
“For bringing my dead heart back to life.” he answered.
He saw her lips expand from ear to ear. Softly he whispered, “I love you.”
“I love you more, punk.” was the last thing they both heard before their lips passionately locked, their hearts perfectly alive.

End.

No beta this time, so any errors are mine. (Gomen! Gomen! Gomen Nasai!) [Alas, the hyper diesease has spread upon me. XD]
